Download Run of Show Live
The show-caller runs on your show PC. Crew join from a browser over the local network — no installs, and nothing mid-show depends on the internet.
Version 1.4.0 · released 21 September 2026 · 96 MB · Windows 10 or later, 64-bit
On a Mac, or can't install anything?
The same editor, show mode and print pack, in any browser — macOS, Linux, a locked-down work laptop. Crew can't join over the local network — that needs the desktop app.
Shows are saved in that browser on that machine — nothing is uploaded, and they do not follow you to another device.
First run on Windows
The installer isn’t code-signed yet, so Windows SmartScreen shows a one-time “Windows protected your PC” screen. Click More info, then Run anyway. Installation is per-user and needs no admin rights, which matters on a locked-down show PC.
Staying current
The app updates itself between shows and never during one — an armed show blocks every check, download and install until you disarm it. Your shows are kept on uninstall.
What you need to run it
- Windows 10 or later, 64-bit
- A subscription or trial — activate with a code from your account
- Crew devices on the same network as the show PC
- No internet needed once the show is loaded
Which one do you need?
Two ways to run it, and they are not the same thing. The difference that matters is the one in bold.

If your crew need the running order on their phones, you need the desktop app. That is the one thing the web version cannot do and never will — crew join over the venue’s own network, which needs something running on a machine in the building. Everything else is a matter of time.
Everything in the Web column marked Yes works right now: open Run of Show in your browser — free while it’s in preview; sign in with your eventru Tools account.
“Planned” means exactly that — not shipped. Nothing in this table describes something you cannot do today as though you can.
